Front Page Rankings Retains #1 Rank For Superior SEO Trophy Terms
None-the-less we are officially backing away from the trophy term wars for 'superior SEO', 'Superior SEO Design' and 'Superior SEO Web Design', even though we still rank #1 for all three terms.
The management team at Front Page Rankings, Inc. simply cannot devote the necessary time and energy (especially energy) that is necessary to continue the fight for these terms simply for the sake of marketing and feels that our time is much better spent supporting our clients and seeking new opportunities for continued professional growth.
As a team we enjoyed the spirited competition at first, but since it has become a personal issue we decided it was in our best interest to let this one go as it was not conducive to our company culture to respond to, nor indulge in, personal attacks simply for the sake of marketing a silly trophy term. We are proud of our work, proud of our designs and proud of our ability to assist our clients in ranking well on the search engines while retaining a great look and feel to their site. We do not encourage, nor will we participate in, personal attacks against any other web designer, SEO artist or software engineer.
The entire team at Front Page Rankings, Inc. is proud of what we bring to the table. While there may be others out there with more resources, time and energy, there are few out there with better designs, tighter code and a more complete set of skills than us. We constant strive to better our knowledge and use the latest information for the benefit of our clients.
So to the team at SEO Ibiza we can only say, get them back if you can, we won't be spending any more time trying to keep them, but something tells us, that you still have a huge uphill battle here in the United States in order to capture these terms again, and that silly little site you took 8 hours to create simply isn't up to the job. You may want to try something a little more robust, not to mention a little bit better designed... man oh man is that thing ugly. (We never intimated that we wouldn't tell the truth when it came to poor web design.)
Just thought I'd give you all an update here... do you notice anything? These guys built a site specifically to rank for "Superior SEO" IN THE U.S. but can't seem to take my site over in the SERPs. I wonder why? Might lead someone to think that there might be something here after all, but you'll never get these guys to admit it, they still insist they have the "goods" but in reality, all they have is a lot of talk.
Another update since it's been 2 weeks (it's November 10, 2009), here's the funniest thing... Their old site actually bumped their new site off of the #2 spot, but my site is still #1.
Another update since it's been 3 weeks (it's December 1, 2009), their old site still outranks their custom built site for a specific two word search term. These guys obviously can't even get the simplest site off the ground and make their ranking stick. Again, my site is not really optimized for "Superior SEO" but rather for "SEO Web Design" currently #15 on Google (#17 for SEO Web Design on Bing).
Another update since it's been 2 months (it's February 2, 2010), the site that the guys from Spain built specifically to outrank my site for a simple two word search phrase (Superior SEO) still comes in at #2. It's kinda funny because these guys predicted it would only take 4 weeks for them to rank #1 on a global search still haven't managed to overtake my site with it. Even when searching on the UK version of Google, their new site comes up as #3. It's really kind of sad that they placed such heavy faith in their abilities only to come up so drastically short. Perhaps they should look for another line of work since it seems as if truly superior seo isn't their thing.
